Straight bangs are not the most popular options for many hairstyles and look because of their simple nature. A straight bang is usually short to medium hair and goes straight over the forehead with no angling or parting. The bangs may be combed totally straight or a paddle brush maybe used to add a little volume.  

Straight bangs are good simple looks without curls or wave and can help frame the facial area. Wider foreheads can be framed to look smaller and square jawlines can be evened out using straight bangs.

Straight bangs can be great for simple looks with ponytails as well as sleek simple hairstyles. Straight bangs also seem to be the trendy option for younger girls but as they grow, more variety in bangs can be more popular.
